ACT announces new mediation rules

ACT, a renowned alternative conflict resolution organization, announces its mediation requirements wherever this purpose is in order to prepare for effective and efficient mediation and away from caution.

The new instructions include providing a framework that facilitates the mediation process and ensures transparent measures and preventive measures to protect the disputing party. These instructions have been prepared in line with international best practices, taking into account considerations specific to local contexts.

Mr. Mohammad Hadieh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACT, said: "The allocation of these instructions is a step by step towards the mission of establishing a culture of mediation for all to deal specifically in Palestinian society in different ways and seeks to help and contribute to building trust to help cooperation between disputing parties."

The instruments include comprehensive comments on the appointment of mediators, maintaining confidentiality, and  neutrality and the beginning and end of mediation procedures.

ACT invites all the legal, commercial parties and individual, to review the new instructions available on its websites, where a series of seminars and workshops will be organized for it, considering this additional initiative as an additional step towards the role of mediation in resolving disputes, and is a start for people to search for solutions that seek all evidence.
