Jerusalem Dialogue: Facts, Policies, and Future Scenarios
Project Objectives
This project aims to align civil society and community actors in Jerusalem with official positions on key issues to enable the inclusion of broader and more comprehensive perspectives on conflict resolution. The goal is to foster stakeholder cohesion around core issues.
By adopting a multi-step consensus-building approach, employing data collection, public awareness analysis, and stakeholder engagement through collective mediation, the project seeks to promote alignment on three negotiation positions within the Jerusalemite community and relevant official political actors, including the Negotiations Support Unit.
Project Activities:
The project will enhance internal Palestinian cohesion on issues related to the status of Jerusalem and narrow the gap within relevant official negotiation positions. It will strengthen dialogue and consensus-building among Jerusalemites, aiming to incorporate their perspectives into efforts to update negotiation positions.
The project focuses on three critical issues:
1. Settlements,
2. The status quo of religious sites,
3. Essential services (education, health, and economy).
It seeks to unify views on solutions for these issues and identify gaps between them and current negotiation positions.
