Project name: Enhancing Jerusalemites’ access to informal justice
Project description: The project to enhance Jerusalemites’ access to informal justice is a project that aims to expand the use of alternative means of resolving disputes, such as mediation and arbitration, to avoid resorting to the courts in Jerusalem. This project is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and with support from the Sawasiya program.
Project objectives: The project aims to review legislation related to mediation and arbitration, build the capabilities of arbitrators accredited by the Ministry of Justice, and provide mediation and arbitration services in civil, commercial, and family disputes, in addition to continuing to build the capabilities of engineers and contractors through special training courses in FIDIC contracts.
