Empowering women to combat gender-based violence
Project Description: Empowering women to combat gender-based violence through alternative means of resolving disputes, such as mediation, within the project’s activities, which vary between mediation and arbitration services, seminars, training, and media campaigns on awareness of gender-based violence and alternative means of resolving disputes.
Project objectives: The project aims to combat gender-based violence (GBV) and develop methods of conflict resolution in each of (Ain Sultan Women’s Center, Obeidieh Insan Center). The program seeks to empower individuals, especially women, to prevent gender-based violence, and reach to the support services provided ACT and partners, to contribute to the well-being of society and enhance social cohesion in general.
