ACT Conducts Training to Enhance Youth Skills and Job Readiness
ACT for Conflict Resolution has implemented a training program in life skills and career awareness, aiming to enhance youth readiness for the labor market and develop key personal, digital, and professional skills required to succeed in modern work environments.
The training was structured across two core tracks:
Track 1 (3 Days): Focused on developing leadership, problem-solving, time management, communication, public speaking, professional presentation, and teamwork skills. It also introduced workplace dynamics and strategies for constructively navigating professional challenges. Additionally, this track covered essential digital skills, including email etiquette, video conferencing platforms, cloud collaboration tools, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Track 2 (1 Day): Centered on career awareness, equipping participants with practical guidance on resume building, preparing for technical and non-technical job interviews, mapping career paths, and exploring available employment opportunities.
This training aligns with ACT's ongoing efforts to empower youth and bridge the gap between personal/professional skills and job market needs, fostering a highly prepared and confident workforce.
The program is funded by the Jerusalem Program under the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC).
