Ramallah – June 13, 2026: As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of young people in public life, ACT for Conflict Resolution organized a specialized training workshop in Ramallah on UN Security Council Resolution 2250, the National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security, strategic planning, networking, and advocacy.
The workshop brought together 17 young participants and aimed to encourage meaningful youth participation in decision-making processes while equipping them with practical skills to design and lead effective advocacy initiatives.
The two-hour workshop covered key topics, including steps for selecting priority community issues, collecting information from official and human rights sources, and analyzing the surrounding social and political context. Several issues were also used as practical case studies to apply advocacy tools from an integrated human rights and community perspective, in order to strengthen the practical component of the training.
