ACT Advances Peacebuilding Through Mediation Training Supported by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs
Ramallah, September 2025 — ACT has concluded an intensive three-day training on the “Fundamentals of Mediation” as part of its ongoing project “Mediation as a Tool for Peacebuilding,” supported by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).
The training equipped a new generation of socially active youth with the practical skills and confidence to manage and resolve conflicts through dialogue and peaceful engagement. Participants explored key concepts and stages of mediation, while applying techniques of negotiation, communication, and problem-solving to real-life scenarios.
Through this initiative, ACT continues to strengthen local capacities for peace and reconciliation, positioning mediation as a cornerstone for sustainable peacebuilding in Palestine. The program reflects ACT’s commitment—together with its international partners—to promote tolerance, mutual understanding, and nonviolent approaches to conflict resolution across communities.
