ACT Institution Launches a Series of Jerusalem Dialogue Meetings
03 March 2025

ACT for Studies and Conflict Resolution has initiated a series of dialogue meetings aimed at fostering dialogue with diverse and influential groups within Jerusalem's society. These discussions address various contentious issues that often lead to divisions and conflicts, with the goal of promoting acceptance of differences, appreciation of diversity, and respect for differing opinions.

The first meeting brought together a dynamic group of women from diverse cultural, social, and age backgrounds. During the session, a policy analysis paper—based on research conducted by ACT—was presented, covering key issues such as education, healthcare, the economy, settlement expansion, and sacred religious sites. The paper serves as a foundation for further development through participation and exchange of perspectives.

Facilitated by Ms. Salwa Hudeib, the session featured in-depth discussions that raised critical questions about the current and future realities of the city, the challenges it faces, and the pioneering role of women in supporting democratic dialogue and freedom of thought as pillars of both individual and collective rights. Participants’ feedback and insights were also incorporated to refine the policy analysis paper.
