ACT Foundation launches mediation training programme in Ain al-Sultan camp.

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, ACT Foundation for Alternative Studies and Means of Conflict Resolution launched a training programme on mediation fundamentals, in partnership with the Feminist Center of Ain al-Sultan Camp.

The training targets a group of women active in dealing with cases of gender-based violence, with a view to developing their skills in conflict resolution through mediation and enhancing their role in finding peaceful and effective solutions.

The first meeting, presented by Ms. Mei Abu Ghazala, featured an introduction to the fundamentals of mediation and the mediator's role in conflict resolution through interactive discussions and intensive training sessions.

The training programme lasts for 20 hours during February, as part of ACT's efforts to empower community groups and promote a culture of peaceful resolution of conflicts.
