On Thursday, January 16, 2025, ACT Conflict Resolution Institution concluded its Advanced Arbitration Training, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and with the support of the “Sawasya III Joint Programme, Reinforcing Equal Access to Justice for all Palestinians”.

This three-day training, lasting 20 hours, targeted a group of arbitrators accredited by the Ministry of Justice. The training focused on several key topics, including the differences between mediation, arbitration and expertise, as well as distinguishing between the skills of a mediator and an arbitrator. Additionally, it delved into practical applications of arbitration procedures and examined relevant legal precedents.

At the conclusion of the training, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Justice, Counselor Ahmad Dabbaleh, presented certificates to the participating arbitrators, alongside Mr. Mamoun Atili, the Sawasya Joint Programme representative, and Mr. Mohammad Hadieh, Chairman of the Board of ACT. The event was also attended by the trainer, Dr. Ghassan Khalid, and representatives from the General Directorate for Professional Affairs and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

It is worth noting that this training is part of the ongoing programs implemented by the institution with the support of the Sawasya III Joint Programme, all of which aim to promote the use of alternative dispute resolution methods in Palestine.
