ACT for Conflict Resolution Opens Advanced Arbitration Training in the Presence of the Minister of Justice and a Representative of the Sawasya Joint Programme
On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, ACT for Conflict Resolution launched the Advanced Arbitration Training program in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice and with support from the Sawasya III Joint Programme: Reinforcing Equal Access to Justice for all Palestinians”,
The training aims to enhance the capacities of arbitrators and develop their skills in effectively and efficiently resolving disputes, as part of broader efforts to promote alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in Palestine.
The training was inaugurated by H.E. Minister of Justice, Counselor Sharhabeel Al-Za’eem, representatives of the General Directorate for Professional Affairs and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mr. Mamoun Attili, representative of the Sawasya Joint Programme, and Mr. Mohammad Hadiyeh, Chairman of the Board of ACT. All emphasized the importance of arbitration as an effective tool for fostering justice and promoting civil peace.
ACT reiterated its commitment to providing innovative training programs that support capacity building for ADR professionals in Palestine in the field of mediation and arbitration, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice. This effort aims to strengthen public trust in arbitration as a swift and efficient means of dispute resolution.
It is worth noting that the training will last for three days, totaling twenty training hours, where participants will be exposed to practical activities to further enhance their arbitration skills.
