ACT concluded a training program on "Mediation as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Method" with a women's group from Al-Obeidiya in collaboration with the Humanitarian Association for Women's Development. This was part of its efforts to promote a culture of dialogue and resolve conflicts in a peaceful and constructive manner.
The training targeted 25 women and lasted for several sessions, totaling 20 hours. The participants were equipped with the necessary skills to understand the basics of mediation and apply them practically in managing community and personal conflicts. The program included a combination of theoretical sessions and practical exercises that focused on building the participants' abilities to analyze conflicts, develop negotiation strategies, and enhance effective communication skills.
