ACT for Conflict Resolution concludes its FIDIC Model 4 training.
ACT concluded its participation in the new FIDIC 4 training contract, which was implemented within the Jerusalemites' Access to Informal Justice Participation project with the support of the Sawasiya III program.
This training was presented by Mr. Nabil Abbas, an engineer whose audience was a group of engineers, lawyers, and arbitrators in the engineering field, and included several topics, including knowing what FIDIC contracts are and the legal characteristics of the contract.
The legal aspect of the changes was also discussed, knowing what the claims related to the employer and the contractor are and how to manage them, and identifying the notifications and how they relate to the loss of rights and the statute of limitations.
The training continued for 20 hours, distributed over several meetings during the months of September and October via Zoom, during which scientific knowledge was exchanged and integrated with the practical reality of many of the issues raised by the trainer and participants, which further enriched scientific knowledge and exchanged experiences among all who attended the training.
We point out that the participants in this training will continue to attend the training related to FIDIC Model 5, which will be implemented in the near future as part of the project to enhance Jerusalemites' access to informal justice.
