ACT for Conflict Resolution launches mediation training as a means of resolving gender-based conflicts.

On Thursday, 11/24/2024, ACT organized the first mediation training meeting as a means of resolving conflicts related to violence in cooperation with Insan Expert Association for Women’s Development in Al-Obaidieh. 25 women of different age groups benefit from this training, and this training comes within the project of empowering women to combat gender-based violence.
In this meeting, the concept of gender-based violence was discussed, and the nature and nature of conflicts in the Obaidieh area. Participants were also trained on practical applications of the mechanism for dealing with cases of violence using mediation.
