ACT for Conflict Resolution holds a dialogue session through the International Law and Human Rights Forum titled “Developments in the Legal and International Status of the War on Gaza”.
This was on Saturday, 05/25/2024, via Zoom, where Dr. Lihbib Al-Nuaimi from Morocco who is a researcher in international criminal justice issues and interested in international humanitarian law and international human rights law. He was interviewed by Mr. Mohammad Hadieh - lawyer, mediator, arbitrator, and founder of ACT.
The session addressed many topics, most notably Public Prosecutor Karim Khan’s requests to the Pre-Trial Chamber to issue arrest warrants, the judicial battle before the International Court of Justice considering developments in the war on Gaza, and strategic litigation regarding international business from international criminal jurisdictions, where Dr. Habib explained it by referring to the example of the French Lafarge and Swedish Linden cases.
The meeting was attended by about 60 participants, where information, knowledge and experiences were exchanged between the participants and the session’s interlocutors, and all questions raised were answered.
