ACT for Conflict Resolution launched its training course in the principles and basics of mediation to prepare and qualify mediators on Sunday, May 12, under the supervision and presentation of Mr. Mohamed Hadiya, a lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator. Many attendees from different backgrounds and interests joined the first meeting, and what they all had in common was their interest in learning about the world of mediation as one of the alternative means of resolving disputes, which would later enable them to resolve many disputes in their field of work.

In the first session, multiple topics were discussed, starting with the definition of conflict and mediation and the extent of their appearance in our daily lives, the important principles of mediation, and relying on Christopher Moore’s paper on conflict and its outcomes, noting that the number of hours of this program is 45 training hours, which includes both theoretical and practical aspects.
