ACT for Conflict Resolution receives a delegation from the Center for Mediation and Community Dialogue in al-Lid.

During the month of February, ACT received a delegation from the Mediation and Dialogue Center in al-Lid to learn about the work of the Mediation and Arbitration Center in Jerusalem and to enhance professional and knowledge exchange between the two centers.

Mr. Mohammad Hadieh, founder ACT, welcomed the guests of the organization and Jerusalem. He also gave a lecture on institutional mediation and the role of mediation and dialogue institutions in enhancing community awareness and developing a culture of resorting to alternative means of resolving disputes. He concluded by holding two mock mediation sessions during which the guests had realistic experience of real community conflict issues.
