ACT Foundation holds a training course on the topic of gender-based violence
On January 13, 2023, the ACT Foundation for Conflict Resolution held the first meeting of the training course on the topic of gender-based violence and responding to it, as part of the Strengthening Communities to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence project in East Jerusalem, with support from the Government of Canada. This training is participating in A diverse group of lawyers and specialists in the field of social service, psychology, accounting and various specializations. Several topics were discussed in the first meeting, the most important of which is the concept of violence, its types and its impact. In addition to shedding light on gender, gender, and potential conflicts from gender-based violence, it also touched on human rights and violence prevention agreements during the second meeting, which was held on 01/20/2024. This training is provided by trainer Mehdi Shaloudi, for forty training hours.
