ACT received a group of women from the Mediation and Dialogue Center in the city of Rahat

The Mediation and Arbitration Center at ACT Organization received at its headquarters in the city of Jerusalem on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, a group of women from the Mediation and Dialogue Center in the city of Rahat to attend a dialogue seminar on arbitration procedures in cases of conflict and discord between spouses, during which Professor Mai Abu Ghazaleh reviewed the assignment book. Issued by the court, the most important elements it contains, and what are the tasks assigned to the arbitrators, which is to reconcile the spouses or separate them. The symposium lasted for two hours.

It should be noted that family disputes and divorce cases are very common in the Bedouin community of Rahat, and that the number of women mediators and arbitrators is very small.
