ACT Organization for Conflict Resolution completes its advanced level of arbitration training

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, ACT Organization for Conflict Resolution completed the advanced level of arbitration training that it implemented as part of the project to enhance the role of alternative means of resolving disputes in Jerusalem with the support of the Sawasiya program, to prepare and qualify trained arbitrators capable of resolving disputes away from the judiciary. The training course included 25 Participants and participants who have completed basic arbitration training, including lawyers, engineers, social workers, and accountants, and who are interested in reform and dispute resolution, and in multiple professional fields. The training included practical applications on drafting the arbitration agreement, the proceedings of the first procedural session, and writing the arbitration decision according to legal foundations and standards. The training also included learning about the types of rulings and the mechanisms for issuing them, as well as cases of appeal against the arbitration decision. This training course was presented by Professor Maryam Al-Awadah, a member of the Bar Association in The Republic of Egypt, a certified arbitrator at the London Court of International Arbitration, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, London, United Kingdom.
