ACT Organization completes the advanced stage of the mediator qualification

ACT organization for conflict resolution completed the advanced level of the mediation training yesterday, Monday 27.11.2023 which it implemented within the project for enhancing the role of alternative methods for conflict resolution in Jerusalem with the support of Sawasiya program to establish and qualify trained mediators who are able to contribute to conflict resolution in civil ways. The training course included 25 participants who completed the basic mediation training from lawyers, architects, contractors, social workers, and many others from different fields and conflict resolution workers. The training also included practical application of the different types of conflicts with a focus on improving the participants’ mediation skills and the most important of them are summarizing, re-asking questions, and transitioning the parties from talking about situations to benefits through improving their negotiation skills. It should be noted that lecturers and trainers from different countries participated in the training in an effective way, the most important of them were the lawyer Mohammad Hadieh from Palestine, and Gerry Osolivan from Ireland.
