The Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) signs MOU with ACT to support alternative dispute resolution tools in Jerusalem

On 30 January 2017, PBA Chairman Hussein Shabaneh signed a memo of understanding with ACT Board Chairman Lawyer Mohammad Hadieh, as a means to achieve a constructive fruitful collaboration between the Bar Association- a key Palestinian justice sector pillar, and the civil society and human rights organizations in Jerusalem. Both parties seek to bridge the legal and judicial relationship between Jerusalem and the rest of the Palestinian governorates and to provide a national professional Palestinian judicial alternative in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
