ACT Conflict Resolution organization holds a workshop at Abu Bakr Al Siddik Girls School
On Wednesday, the 23th of March 2022, ACT held an interactive lecture with the students of the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Girls School - Sur Baher, under the supervision of the school director, Ms. Muntaha Atoun, and presented by Dr. Najeh Bakirat.
The lecture focused on introducing the students to the concept of endowment, its conditions and pillars, and acquainted them with historical stories about endowments, especially on endowment lands that were endowed by women, and ended with opening the way for the students to discuss and ask questions.
This lecture is the first in a series of upcoming lectures in several schools in Jerusalem, part of the Palestine Legacy project funded by the European Union and in partnership with the Palestinian Vision Foundation and the PASSIA Foundation.
It is worth noting that the Abu Bakr Girls School is one of the 59 schools of endowments affiliated to the Directorate of Education - Jerusalem.
