Act Organizes its Second Meeting about “Family Waqf”
20 December 2018

As part of a series of community meetings aimed at preserving and protecting real estate properties in Jerusalem, Act organized its second meeting on the "Family Waqf" at the Dar Hotel in Jerusalem. The meeting was hosted by his Eminence Dr. Akrama Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Commission and the Honorable Judge of the Sharia Court in Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammed Sarandah, both of whom provide interventions on the legal and legal framework of substantive and procedural related to the Waqf, focusing on what people need to know about the conditions of the validity of the Waqf and the procedures for submission of the request for the Waqf and the approval of the competent Sharia court. Valuable interventions from the audience enriched the discussion and deepened the dialogue and suggestions for practical interventions to raise awareness of the importance of the stay in Jerusalem.
