ACT organisation and the Palestinian Police concluded an introductory workshop for its new project with the support of GIZ.

The ACT Foundation, in cooperation with the Palestinian Police, concluded the planning workshop for the Time to ACT project implemented with the support of the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ), which lasted for three continuous days and was attended by 33 officers from different departments in the Palestinian Police, including the General Department of Public Relations, the Community Policing Program Mobile centers, cybercrime unit, family protection unit, forensic laboratory and forensic evidence.

During the workshop, the participants discussed the project plan, which will last for a full year and focus on awareness-raising on crime scene protection. In addition, to the role of mobile centers in strengthening the community partnership that the Palestinian police aims to achieve. It was also decided in this workshop to form a permanent follow-up committee and a media committee.

It should be noted that the goal of the Time to ACT project is to raise awareness of the police services provided by the police institution to everyone in the community and to build trust in the institution.
