ACT conflict Resolution organizes a panel discussion entitled "The Law Applicable to the Subject of the Conflict under the Palestinian Arbitration Law".

ACT conflict resolution institute organized a seminar on a master's study, Last Tuesday, February 22, 2022, for Professor Alaa Farouk Abd Haj Abd, titled "The Law Applicable to the Subject of Conflict under the Palestinian Arbitration Law".

The study dealt with the subject of the law, applicable to the subject of the international commercial dispute presented to the arbitral tribunal, as it dealt with arbitration in general and arbitration by conciliation in addition to arbitration by law, and the scope of the arbitrator’s authority in each of them, as well as the comparison between them. The choice of the parties to the law, applicable to the subject of the dispute was also explicitly or implicitly addressed. The researcher reviewed the possibility of choosing legal rules such as the rules of merchants, the position of the Palestinian legislator and the comparative laws of these rules. In addition to this, there was talk about the arbitral tribunal's selection of the law applicable to the subject of the dispute in the absence of the will of the parties, and the researcher also touched on the issue of referral. The researcher concluded her presentation by talking about the most important findings and recommendations.
