ACT Conflict Resolution Institution hold a meeting with the participation of Arabs about editing the arbitration’s judgement and the conditions of its validity.

ACT Conflict Resolution Institution held an online meeting on Zoom, titled Editing the arbitration award and its validity according to the comparative arbitration laws. The meeting hosted the lawyer Talaat Qayseye from the Syrian Arab Republic, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Permanent Arab Court for arbitration and the decision-maker of it’s Media Committee. Qayseye talked about establishing the court and its vision, message, bodies, committee, and the role it will take in the Arab world in the stage. In addition, the meeting hosted the Secretary General of the Permanent Arab Court of Arbitration Mr. Sufian Al Ahmadi from the Kingdom of Morocco as the main speaker about the liberalization of the arbitration ruling. Through which he covered all the requirements needed for arbitration ruling to turn out in accordance with the law, including all the condition for its validity, including writings, names of opponents, arbitrators, requests, documents, the number required for reaching the final decision, its reasons, its operative place, and the date of its issuance and signing. The meeting that was hosted by the lawyer, Mr. Mohammad Hadieh the executing director of the institution, stood out because of the participation of experts from Palestine and other Arab countries that contributed in expanding the discussion and expanding the diversity of experiences, questions and in-depth legal interventions.

 To be noted that the implementation of this meeting comes with a series of meeting in the Conflict Resolution Program. This program is a strategic program that is carried out by the institution with the purpose of spreading the culture of resorting to alternative means for conflict resolution and focusing on negotiation, mediation and arbitration. It focused on training negotiators, mediators and arbitrators, and resolving conflict through the acts of mediation and arbitration in the institution
