Yasmeen Adnan Alaa Al-Din
A young Palestinian woman from Jerusalem, holding a Master’s degree in Public Health Management, and recognized as one of the prominent activists in the fields of women’s rights and community work in Palestine.
Coming from a health background that helped her understand the link between health and social justice, she directed her focus toward issues affecting women and marginalized groups. She is also engaged in community mediation and constructive conflict management. She has participated in international conferences at the United Nations and in South Africa, where she worked to bring the realities of Palestinian women to global platforms.
She is active in women’s and human rights organizations in Jerusalem, most notably the YWCA of Jerusalem, and serves as a member of the Administrative Board of ACT Institute for Dispute Resolution, where she contributes to strengthening dialogue and civil peace.
She also works as a trainer for young women in leadership and empowerment, striving to enhance the participation of Jerusalemite and Palestinian women in public and political life.
Yasmeen represents a model of a young leader committed to creating positive impact based on justice, equality, and peace.
