ACT Conflict Resolution Organization announces the opening of registration to participate in the project “Community Initiatives Based on Mediation Approaches to Promote Dialogue and Social Cohesion in Palestinian Society”, funded by the European Union.

The project aims to support trained mediators in transforming the knowledge and skills they have acquired in mediation and peacebuilding into practical community initiatives that enhance dialogue, reduce tensions, and strengthen social cohesion within local communities. This comes as part of empowering participants to design and implement feasible community initiatives based on the principles of mediation, dialogue, and constructive, peaceful conflict management.

Training Topic: Designing and facilitating community initiatives aimed at resolving community conflicts and promoting dialogue and social cohesion.

Training Duration: 3 in‑person training days followed by 10 mentoring and guidance sessions.

Full Participation Period: July 2026 – March 2027.

Scope of Participation: Participation in the project includes attending the training and mentoring sessions, designing and implementing a community initiative, and engaging in related events and meetings throughout the project period until March 2027.

All initiatives are fully funded

Application Requirements:

  • Documented experience in mediation and peacebuilding
  • A feasible idea for a community initiative
  • Commitment to attend all training days and mentoring sessions
  • Commitment to design, implement, and deliver the community initiative according to the set timeline until March 2027

Deadline for Application: Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

General Note: Participants will be selected based on criteria related to professional experience, interest in the field, and the quality of the proposed initiative idea. Accepted candidates will be contacted within one week of the registration deadline.
